Morning gang ;0) If you read yesterdays post you will know that hubby and I have our Anniversary on Thursday, and we are still very much in love Aah lol. So with the next event on the crafty calender being Valentines I thought I would use this theme to create a card for hubby and fit a few challenges in while I'm at it lol. Over at Studio L3 Linda is having fun again each Monday with Tim's Book and this week it's rusty grunge. I really do like this technique. I am also playing along with GSC I am using Petra's idea of scraps. And lastly Artistic Stamper who want to see wings.
The lights was so poor this morning despite us having more snow in the NW of UK today. Here you can see a wee bit better the details of the rusty grunge key which I give to my hubby who used it to set my heart free to love him for all eternity *swoon* the heart is slightly raised over the grungy alcohol inked cage. The wings and heart are made form scraps as well as the obvious vintage music paper. Your card is fab...Love the close up. Our local altered arts group is issuing a challenge using a bird cage like the one you used...one gal will make one for each participant and we will create something ...should be fun to see the different pieces.

My "macro" is my tulip setting on a very poor camera. The camera was actually made to make videos, not stills, so it is challenged in many ways. It is not a DSLR, just a point and shoot Kodak Zi6. It looks more like a cell phone than a camera, but it's only a camera.
The camera seems to do much better on the "macro," or tulip setting than the normal setting. I hope that explains what I did. Sorry if you thought I had some good answers, because I have none. It's a bad camera with one good setting (grin). Thanks for asking.
I forgot to mention how much I like that card for your upcoming anniversary. I really love this style.

What a wonderfully Romantic card--I think your DH will shed a tear!!! I love the muted colors -I have a difficult time choosing those, but maybe for V-day I will give them a try!!
