Allsorts wk 16

This is SO hard for me a REAL challenge, NO STAMPS what? no stamps oh my, so please excuse this card ;-) Allsorts have been very naughty to me this week lol but that I supose it what a challenge is all about.

My small order of Glimmer Mists (GM) arrived so I have been playing, this is what I have come up with, I have to say it was lots of fun making all the paper I need more so I can experiment. Any way I got the faithful cuttle bug out and away I went I was going to just do a very simple & classy Christmas card but I was beaten to it by a DT member lol very nice it was too. I supose I could of still done it only with GM lol but one has broken (gasp horror) I thought it was just blocked (as they can some times) but it was very shaken (not stired) I washed the spray and nothing, so I hope a new one will be sent will let you know. There were lots of items used but I got very carried away I didn't write them down sorry, but I don't know the name of the CB folder ot the die cut I used and I think I used all the GM lol Yes I did so I can put them down.

Items used: GM coffee, lemon Zest,Pink Bubble Gum Turquoise Blue & Irridecent Gold. some shells for my stash Whisper White card stock SU, two perminent markers silver & black and A go create die cut (camper van) the CB folder (swirls I think) & die cut (for the sentiment) I can't remember the names. Sugar Bowl ch18

What do you think? I haven't used this stamp for AGES. I was looking at the Sugar Nellie (SN) stamps I have, not that many really I must get some more lol think that last ones I bought were Poise (love it) and Time flies. I keep seeing the new stuff I must have more lol any way, loving the sketch over at SB ch19 I will use this one again I think. loving the papers I choose, I have used things on the last few posts I haven't used in a while . All the papers have come out and lots of the old ribbons, all to get the mojo working again, after my wee break. It was only about 10days of lost mojo but it's taken simply ages to get bk in to the swing of things & I don't think I am quite there YET!

I keep saying I would like to do some scrapbooking again, I have the most beautiful papers but I think I have lost the knack of that too! (or I just don't want to use the papersl lol) although looking at some of my past LOs I can't do any worse, lol isn't it funny how we think some thing is really good at the time, and then we come back to it 6motnh or a year later we just think how could I have thought this was good? lol well enough natter.


Items Used: Card stock (CS) co'ordinations & Stampin' Up! (SU) craft Design papers (DP) American Crafts (ala cart, set 2). Buttons craft time, coloured with Whisper pens, string or fiber SU & glossey accents by ranger getting into using this way too much again it's like I have just found again lol. Thank you for looking. PYW 22 & Stampin' Sisters in Christ

I Have found a new challenge blog it's wonderful I do hope you will all go over and join in, SSIC the challenge blog is called Scrappin' Sisters in Christ, what a lovely sentiment this is, and if you go along I know you will love this as much as I do. As I say it is a completely NEW challenge site and I am sure they would appreciate any support you can give them. The first challenge is the theme of food I didn't realise I had so few stamps with food on, so strawberries it is (thank you Elizabeth Bell lol).

The next challenge is PTW sk 22 and I hope you agree it's a really nice sketch, as always both DT of these challenges give a great start to the creative juices, I do hope you pop along to their blogs for some inspiration or just plain curiosity. I really like the end result of this card and it's not like me not to use whisper white card stock as a base, I really like the effect of using this craft card stock for a change, even to the stamps used inside.
