12 x 12 LO James 'PLAY'

Here he is, making another appearence he he. God love him, he will be staying on Tuesday so unless I get lots of stuff up and blogger wants to play ball  (last time I tried it just would not schedual anything) I may shedual some thing for while he is here, if not, bare with me I will be back lol.
I can not believe how much different cards are to scrapping and it is SO different! so for me it's hard to do the two. But I have to keep going and try, these memories have to be saved and better this than just lots of photos in an album hey? This American Craft papers  are devine however, the patterns are on the other side lol they just didn't look right at all untill I put them plain side up!

Awh bless him. he is changing so fast, there is only a few months between these photos but one he looks like a real baby and the other getting really grown up, he makes me smile so much! the photos are just backed on white card stock here.

The title PLAY is some chip board letters from K& Co and most of the other die cuts & scallop circle are Making Memories. Great stuff to work with. The stamp along the bottom is SU on a roller thing. Theses are great, I have a few and if I am going to be doing more scrapping I think these are good for that. I am struggling with these LOs. They haven't got the wow factor yet! I will have to get some magazines for scrapping and try harder. Thanx for stopping by. Love Dawn xx

More ATCs & another delivery woo hoo!

More ATCs  And there are a few challenges between them. First is Stampin' Sisters in Christ. Which this week is about time, as is Something Completely Different which is for this month ATCs and this weeks theme is time. I am also going to enter this in for Allsorts which this week is a lable tag or ticket. They are the challenges for the ATC on the RIGHT. Now the challenges for the LEFT. Dragons Dream is a new site for me but this week she would like to see Tigers (my fave cat of all) or something tiger related. Tuesday Taggers is getting messy (photos to follow he he). You are also asked for a chance to win a prize to include a link for The Craft Barn, I have bought GM and lots of stuff from these so I don't mind recomending them.

The above two photos are close ups of the ATC  to the right on the first photo. (still with me?) hope so lol. Done lots of things on this I used TH stamp on acitate, stapled the ticket and took a clip from SU and used alcohol ink to distress it. Lots of Glimmer Mist and DI, I used sprockets & gears as masks, wiped the ink off them and put them back in the packet lol.

I love the texture that this stamp from Anna has given lots. Loads of GM at first and then some Stazon on the stamp and vola tiger stripes, and I thought as the Tigers are so endangered (some kind of tigers are actually extinct in the wild and off the face of the planet) hard to believe isn't it? So I thought the quote was very apt good 'ol Shakespeare!

I have been much messyer (if there is such a word lol) but there it is lots of mess and ink n stuff all over the place. Thanx for looking, and any comments. Love Dawn xx

Look 2 of 4 parcels arrived today and Tim's book (package) was one, I have read the book  already from cover to cover and it's on my table. It's,  full of techniques  Some, I have used before also with different twist on them. Some completely new and most important at my hands when I need them instead of you tube. lol (you know what it's like you go on the computer for one thing and then 2 hrs later you wonder why still no actual craft has been done lol. So this will save me some craft time I can tell you. I also got some of the Anna Griffin back ground stamps love them (have yet to use them) but my mind is buzzing with posabilites. Will keep you informed when my other goodies get here, better than Christmas so much excitement lol.

Home Made Stamp Books & A challenge card

I have been busy trying to make room for my NEW goodies. In this months craft stamper there was a lovely little idea for clearing away some stamps and this is what I have done! I have made three and can you believe it, I haven't got enough there full already!

Here is the inside of one of the small ones, I have used this one for all my craft stamper freebies. I had to take most of them off the front of the magazine so no space saved there lol, this works really well with the acitate if they are the clear  stamps. However, the rubber ones that I have attached foam too are not very good at sticking although they stick to  an acrilic block fine, not so good on acitate.

This small book is purely for my Crafty Individual stamps. Now I have used stazon on the acitate so I know which is which. This was before I knew how to stamp the foam first! before sticking it to the stamp them selves. When i get round to it I will put something creative on the front of the books (labels etc).

This is the large book, don't you just love crafters? now Tim has thought a head, this is a thick plastic sheet already punched and printed to actual size of the stamps, Also Clear Stamps, Have done the same with their product, only there's is in a plastic pouch, so all the stamps are in and you can see them as & when you need them.

An up date, I got e-mails this morning telling me my items from QVC have beed dispatched first thing! so I could be playing with them tomorow or Saturday SO excited!!!

Now on to a challenge card, Krafting Kimmy are doing a challenge this week, it's called make a scene, do go to there blog for more information, and don't miss the DT this week they have done such a super job! the next is Paper take weekly I have followed their sketch, I like this one, and do and pop over if you can. Thanx for all your comments and encouragement Love Dawn xx

Easter note cards

I am loving my new delivery, and to my shame this isn't all of it oops! I have more on the way and some arrived this moring so will have to do some serious creating and no spending for a wee while. Did any one else go on QVC craft day? Oh how I wish I had more money! there were some serious bargins. I went for the Tim Holts stuff can not wait for this stuff to get here, I got the book with some extras I also managed to get just 6 of the NEW colours of DI buy the time I had the first 6 they had all gone out of stock so will have to wait (proberly a good idea but at £20 for 6 DI pads when they are 5 or 6 pound each was good value,) I will show you when they come I also got the best Anna Griffith back ground Stamps as well as  a set of Tim's stamps, oh so excited.

Any way card, this is a photo of some little note cards I am going to give out at Easter. The stamp is lovely isn't it, I don't like to focus on the cross.  I like to remember the Atonement not the tortuer of Christ. So I think this stamp is very fitting for Easter. I am now using the new format for posting where's my spell checker? not that the one they had worked! I do like the way it works with the photos though much easier (so far).

Here is a close up of one of the cards, each one is different, Matt & Layered and of course coloured with Copics by hand so Still individual. I hope you like these and stop by again soon, I love your comments and appreciate you taking the time. Love Dawn xx

Card Challenge

Hello, is any one else excited about Tim Holtz on QVC? not a channel I usually watch but I will be there tonight trying to get my ink stained fingers on some of Tim's New stuff, SO excited.

On to my card. Magnolia this week are doing a sketch fabby prize of two stamps, and as usual fab DT eforts. Basic Grey this week is a colour challenge, MARROON, LEMON & PINK, not one I would go for normally but I hope you think it works well on the card.

I think we all love Magnolia stamps, this is an image a lovely friend sent me, thanx Cheryl. you are such a sweetie and a lovely friend xx. I have ordered a one or two magnolia stamps last week I can't remember, infact I orderd lots last week and so this week will be like Christmas (oops!) well if I don't feel too guilty I'll take a photo ;0) I have coloured her with copics, I do feel I am getting better at this too! I don't know why but I find black hair really difficult some times and others just fine (who knows why?)

Isn't this charm just lovely? quite weighty too! I hand wrote the sentiment. Mothers day and my Mum's birthday are so close together, I don't like to do her out of a card (smiles). I have also done a few Easter note cards getting ready for the best time of the year .I love Easter as much as Christmas if not more it's a truly wonderful time to remember why we are here and of the greatest gift ever given (the Atonement) more of this closer the time ;0) Thank you for looking, and all your lovely comments, they keep me coming back to blog land and showing my efforts. Up up and away in my beautiful balloon

I thought I would make a male card for this stamp, I really love it but I have no idea what manufacturer it's from, as I bought it off e-bay for a £1 so if you know the brand do let me know. I have decided to enter this for SSIC & Tuesday Taggers, there challenge this week is the theme 'TIME' so many options. I have a clock stamp, and clock charms too, but I thought this fit really well. I don't think there is a prize on offer for TT but do stop by and have a look at the DT if nothing else ,as they are super! I am happy with the out come as I don't often do male cards and I do find them a little difficult.

Here is a close up of the image, I have paper pieced the balloon wioth DPs but i had a lot of playing with more new DI for the back ground, if you look carefully I even coloured the people in the balloon with copics. Thank you for looking and keep your comments comming I really love reading them and appreciate the time you spend here. Love Dawn xx
