GSC visiting Artist. Nov 2 & WOYWW

I am having such a fun time playing with this month theme at GSCs and I hope you are getting chance to join in too! Before I show you that though I thought I would show my very messy desk.  lol ;0)

Because of the DT work I am doing I am in a right mess! if you want to witness more craft desks (maybe not this messy) then go along to Julia's blog (link on side bar) WOYWW and you can also play along!

I had an idea a long time ago to make a sewing box I have collected a few tins and I even did a 3D frame HERE I really like lace and sewing projects. Any way I was flicking through my new CS magazine and I came upon a wonderful article all about buttons. This spurred me into action. I had all the materials I needed to make this as I had had the idea for some time ;0) any way I made lots of buttons for all sorts of materials.

All contents made by myself

And finally here is a close up of the lid, I really hope you like it, I really enjoyed making it. Don't forget to pop along to GSC for much more inspiration. Thank you as always for your visits and the comments you leave. Love Dawn xx

Great snoop, I can never through away anything that looks useful and tiny, lucky for me, some people can and I've just found a charm key ring, with tiny bag, shoes and gloves attached to it, so will put them to good use!
Have a Happy WOYWW!!

It's bad enough that I am running nearly a week late, then I have been plagued with that pesky 503 error all night. Just wanted to drop in and let you know I was here this week and hadn't forgotten you. I've simply been slammed with work. I LOVE that sewing box. May have to make one for myself. Thanks for the inspiration.
