Before and After

I really enjoyed doing this challenge, along with the help of the wonderful Michael (hubby). I have to say my favorite part was the set of draws and the wardrobes, the satisfying transformation will forever be in my mind. And it is a great way to get a fab new look with out spending huge amounts of money.

From the photos I hope you can see that not much is new, in fact only the poll for the window, along with the chiffon curtains and the bed are new, the rest have been re painted, I know I surprise my self.

It didn't cost much in comparison to what i would have first thought. I only wish I had taken more photos as the overall change is so dramatic it reminds me of TV programs.

I had never before attempted to change existing furniture, I have to say I am very happy with the results. If you would like to ask any questions please do feel free, and I will help in any way I can (although I am NO expert).

I call this my princess bedroom, I only wish it were a little bigger and I would have a sofa in there so I could spend more time it.

Hmmmn... my fairy mind is spinning...Yes, a pink tree would be magnificent in here! Also, you could wire up strands of pink vintage crystal beads and bejewel the chandelier! You can get chandelier drops and crystals all over the place for pretty cheap. Hopefully your hubby won't mind the extra girliness! Thank you for your lovely comments and for stopping by my blog! Have yourself a wonderful day!
Sparkly Hugs,
Tobi :)
