Flower Tutorial (at last)

Hello fellow crafters & Blogers. I have been asked so many times about these flowers. So here as promised they are. (sorry for the wait) I hope you are not disappointed they really are SIMPLE! So here are the items I will use to make them photo says a 1000s words so enough said here lol
Now start by punching out a scallop. Here I have done one in the wonderful SU card stock and also one in our DP.
Now you will need a large emboss tool or just use the end of your craft knife (mine is metal though) use your imagination here. You will also need a sponge mat of some kind. I got this out of a CDs stamp set many moons ago!
Now here is the very difficult part of making the flower take your emboss tool and start at the scallop edge! and drawn to the centre, I also use circular motions (how difficult is it to take a photo with your left hand when your right handed?) Answer very!!!
Do this with both scallops!
Be a little gentle with the DP as thinner than the very good quality card stock!
So here you are two almost finished flowers all rubbed!
Now snip snip I have shown you two lots this one I have sniped every scallop.
And this one is every other scallop.
Now with some twine and some matching buttons you have your flowers, very simple and with SU it is really good to have perfectly matching flowers to go with any item you can produce! if you look further down my blog, you can see some other examples of my yummy flowers. They do look very prima so I'm told and you can also stamp the scallops before you start and have textured flowers too! little embossing powder, the possibilities are only limited by your imagination! I hope you like this, If you make some let me know would love to see your examples. Please leave me a comment if you have any questions at all. Love Dawn xx
