Tag Tuesday - The Roaring 1920s

Now I love bit of the 1920s very much Art Decor *swoon* and I was going to do something like that, buildings porcline or even jewels but then I remembered a wonderful recent film that went back to the 1920s in style 'THE ARTIST' a silent movie but in the modern day and I was so taken with the poster for this film I thought I would give it a go. So here are my efforts, I hope you like this tag/bookmark done for the wonderful Tag Tuesday I do hope you get a chance to see all the beautiful tags with this theme and become inspired enough to make one of your very own. I used watercolour paper 140lb and sketched the outline I would need by hand with a light HB pencil, then I painted with black watercolour and didn't add much water just straight from the tube with a little water to make it move. I wanted a truly black shadow like the poster. I was very pleased with the out come I hope you like it Dxx
