Hello, it's Thursday so the week is almost over, hope it's going well for you so far. I had some fabby news yesterday, I was given the honor of being a Ginger Gem over at Gingersnap Creations this was for my 3D letter A. I am very pleased I can tell you, and so I now have a GSC Badge proudly displayed on my side bar for all to see *blush* lol. Today I thought I would show a couple of ATCs. I decided to use tape for the base of this one I did hope it would be good to stamp on. However, this is not the case with distress inks, although I haven't tried stazon as yet! so the smudge you see looks like the shadow of the bird which I re-stamped on separate paper and I think it gives a bit of depth now (so another happy mistake)
This is a twinchie I made a while ago, I have put this on to a masked ATC so this is going to be for challenge 15 over at Linda's Who is looking at page 58 of Tim's CC. I have been round and commented on a few already there are some fabby crafters out there. I missed last weeks grunge flower so I used the grunge flowers I was going to use for last week as this weeks masks. It was a wonderful prize last week of Tim's goodies, no idea what is is this week but I do love to play with techniques don't you? Love Dawn xx

Second, way to GO on the CCC this week! What a gorgeous job you did with the Masks Basics technique, and you're so clever to use the grunge flower as your mask! I love the sweet image and the sheet music-covered windgs. Your "Song Bird" piece is stunning, too! ♥

Hi there Dawn, don't you just love those "happy mistakes"... I do, this masked piece is beautiful. I am a softy for steampunk, and I actually get a vibe of that coming from this piece... Beautiful, love how you used the twinchie on your piece for added dimension. And CONGRATS on being a Ginger Gem !!!! :)
