BTC&G 2 & Papertake Weekly

Hello again Her is one of my New Sugar Nellie Stamps (still NO WOJ order though, so upset)Well Winter is here, it is SO cold, all the more reason to stay in and craft. However, the light is rubbish!

I am entering this is for two Challengers based on Winter/Christmas. The first is BTC&G Ch2 the DT have done a fantastic job yet again, I would like to enter again with a none card item, i'm in the middle of making a scarf. However, It's another wreath I would like to have a go at, larger than the Halloween one I did for last months Autumn challenge. iI's just finding the things I want to put on it, not seen what I want just yet so don't know if that will be in time! The other challenge is PTW Challenge lovely examples again from the DT so pop along to these challenge blogs and have a nosey really inspirational!
The Copics are going well still, I really loved this DP paper I picked up ,never heard of it before so will have to get some more. I bought two single sheets it's dble sided so only used one of them on this card but I have to say YUMMY Paper. I think the colouring is going well but I still can see lots of room for improvement.

URGENT HELP REQUIRED!!

Oh I really do need help, no one has come up with anything yet. Please help me out here (I would hate to have to BUY a card! shock horror) here is the mission should you choose to accept it, it's my anniversary in JANUARY (so not much time here) and I would like to make hubby a card. However, I am not very good at male cards and have even less stamps for males so PLEASE WITH A CHERRY ON THE TOP! can you offer any links or suggestions for a card (espcially) or gift even to make for hubby. I love stamping So I need something appropreate I would really appreciate your help, and the winning sugestion will even get a little something off me! So come on girls OR boys (that would be good if any males out there;0) please help me find something so I don't have to BUY A CARD! (HORROR OF HORRORS) Thank you so much. Love Dawn xx

great card Dawn, this image, coloured so well, is gorgeous.
about your husband, animal images are always good and who even men don't like teddy bears. I have a husband who loves music and i made him a great music note book, fits in jeans backpocket, for writing down any cd's or band names he wants. You could wrap a lovely box of chocs in stamped paper or even do a mini scrapbook of the 2 of you .
just some thoughts. janex

This is so pretty. I love this image and you have coloured her beautifully.
Thaks for joining us at BTC&G.
I am rubbish at Male cards so I'm not much help. I always tend to go for blue and brown colours for male cards but don't have many male stamps so always go on the hunt for digis instead and do some stamping around it if I feel the need to stamp lol.

Beautiful card hun!!! I love this image and your coloring on her!!!

As for a card for the Anniversary coming in January, im sure you have something. Even if you have leaves and pretty branches that you can emboss in gold on black, and then do a nice Sentiment, and add some dry flowers, or handmade flowers. Remember its an Anniversary card, so they are always soooo very pretty, or if you wanted to do more for your hubby, then I would just pick a sentiment, and emboss each layer. You do make a gift bag to match, or even an easel card, anyways I do hope this helps you, I know I always have a hard time when it comes to men cards, but I did make hubby a christmas card for last year with Anya& Ian for his card and it turned out cute! :) LOL
Hugs,
Cheryl
