Inchies and a challenge card

I have done a inchie once before, and over at Inch by Inch there doing a challenge, each week  it's a letter of the alphabet and this week they are up to H.I thought I had better catch up so last night I got all  inked up and played to my 'Hearts' content (H = Heart for this week challenge).

A is for Alphabet. Some Distress Ink  (DI) and a Tim Holtz stamp then a few Dymo letters. B is for Bear. Some Glimmer Mist (GM) and a punch of a bear. E is for Eifel Tower. I have used a photo from Crafty Individuals (CI) and a pebble from Prima (loving these new pebbles from Prima). F is for Feather & Flower. Feathers black & White cut to size, then a chip board flower & Letter form Laura Ashley (LA).
C is for Cap. Another CI photo punched out with a mini tag, stuck on to DI inchie. D is for Dome & Dragon fly. Another Punched out & CI photo covered in Distress stickles, Rock candy on a back ground of DI. G is for Gull. Inchie again covered in DI and photo cut out of CI  & chip board LA letter. Finally H is for Heart. Believe it or not this took the longest, it's about 20 little punched out hearts covered in DI then stuck down onto the inchie with Glossy accents and left to dry over night! phew, can you stand some more?

A challenge card, you still with me? I know this is a long post for me, but I did have such fun yesterday playing with all these things so from distress to sweet (almost sickly lol) this is covering a few challenges for me. First, Midnight Madness this is a first time for me over on this challenge, it's a sketch. Next is Ginger Snap Creations Another first, this is a wonderful blog with so much creativity there challenge is 'Celebrate' and all birthdays are a celebration (even the big ones, we women sometimes try to avoid) I was 40 last year phew there's a celebration lol. Next is, lili of the valley Yet another first for me, (get me trying new challenge sites lol). I thought I was spelling gone mad but that's how they spell it. There challenge is a easel card. Finally, is also a new one so FOUR NEW Challenges for me this week! The Play Date Cafe is a colour challenge of deep yellow, pale yellow and white. So do what I have done pop along and try something new and have a look at these yummy sites.

Here is a close up of my New stamp, had it over a week I think but only just using it. (well I did get a lot last week to play with). ;0) She is coloured with Copic's. I thought this Yellow challenge would be quite difficult but I do like the fresh Spring feel you get and I am please with how it turned out in the end.

Thought I would give you a close up of the Hand Made Flower I have used lots of GM on this, if you look you can see it (a wee bit).

And here you can see on the flowers the pearl GM just to give them a little texture and I love the Emboss folder, it's a shame there are not bigger isn't it? when we all made them little card it was fine but when you want to make a larger card you can use them as a whole back ground as I would some time like to do. Any way I have kept you long enough, well done if you read and looked through all this, I am please you took the time. Love to you all as always, Dawn xx

Items used on card:- Coloured with Copic Markers. Card stock,  Stampin Up (SU). Flowers & Lace from Orchid Crafts. Nestabilities for the flower & frame. SU punches & Stamp for the sentiment. DP my minds eye. Stamped Image Bells & Whistles.
