Yay it's Friday again. I don't know if to cheer or scream in horror at just how fast we are getting through October already! The lovely Something Completely Different team have done it again this may seem an odd colour combination but this was a real tweet for me ;0) and I decided to make a 'twinchie' For those of you who don't know is a small piece of art 2x2 you can also have inchies and trinchies 1x1 and 3x3 respectively. If you haven't done this before why not try to work on this smaller area and see what you can come up with. You can use these small works of art at a later date to add to cards, ATCs and LOs just to name a few if you have a go let me know, I would love to see what you come up with ;0)
Here is my close up. I cut some glossy paper and swiped with DI then I added a few Alcohol inks allowed to dry. Then cut out an image and put some silicone glue (SG) on the back to give lift. Surrounded the edges with stickles and then wrote on the button with permanent marker put some thread through and then stuck the button to the twinchie and your done! I hope you will join in, you all really seemed to enjoy the the Autumn colours last week and it was really nice to see so many of you and a joy to see all the different projects you shared. Love Dawn xx
Items Used:- Glossy Card Stock, Alcohol inks, Stickle glitter glue and Distress Inks (DI)s, Ranger. Image, patterend paper. Button & thread Stash.

Absolutley beautiful piece.
I'm SO excited. Your blog is finally updating in Blogger. Wonderful and a great spread, too, So colorful and awesome. I have tried inchies and twinchies and I still hate working in small sizes. However, you seem to have a real flar for it. Love the bird and the sentiment made me laugh.
Really delightful with all the twinchie elements.
Congratulations to you as guest designer for the altered element! This is brilliant.
Not a fan of Inchies or Twinchies but still like to see what others create. This is so vibrant, a blast of colour ! Lynne x
This is lovely! Big congrats on your news!

Thanks for visiting me and your lovely comments. The Mexico book is an altered book with already decorated pages. No journaling needed. The one that is sewn is a "visual journal." I don't journal, so I hope to sell this one. I've given the others away. You add photos, journal thoughts, anything that happened in your day, etc. on these pages. You can use the prompts, or come up with ones of your own.
A signature is a set of pages bound together in a book. There are 24 pages (A4, or 8.5" X 11") folded in half that make up a set of signatures in this book. Signatures are in every book. If you have a book that has been sewn, you can see the set of signatures by finding the first and last pages. In commercial books, signatures can range from 25 to 50 pages. Even paper back books have sets of signatures. If they didn't, the book's center would get too big and it would never close properly. Hope that helps.
