Vintage tag

So how did the weekend go? How cold was it? heating is on full pelt again. :-[  I have been prepping some things for altering, I hope to finish at least one of those this week. The cross stitch is coming on slowly. I can only spare an hour or so a day on it and I am not fast. er what else, oh yes I am going to make a start on a journal, just a small one (as I have never done one before) but  hope to get cracking on that too. Yes lots to get on with. And finally on to this tag.

I love this stamp from Oxford Impressions. Isn't she just darling? So I really made it vintage looking with my DIs and lace. The DP was from my friend Petra (sweet girl) and I just thought how perfect it was for this image. Nice to have a little colour isn't it  (thanks hun xx) and the ribbon is a perfect match. Baby Shower

Hi every one. This is a commissioned card for my sister, her friend is having a shower for her up coming baby. Don't know many people in the UK that have these. Another Americanism that has crossed over to us in the UK. I like the idea of a baby shower though would of loved to have one for my children but sadly my baby is now 16 and I do not intend on having any more just for a few pressies lol.

I am using this card for a challenge as I used the sketch from Mojo Monday Some great examples again I like this side ways too! Here is a close up of the teddy, I know no stamped image here. I wonder if there is a challenge for that? lol this is a rarety for me not to use stamps.

I am loving the sentiment and the papers too, it's nice to do something for some one and this has been a challenge in it's self to do one for a baby shower! any visitors done baby shower cards I know I have a few visits from the USA why not let me know if you have made one I would love to see what you have come up with as I have never made one before. Mojo Monday 114

I found some Disney foam stamps ages ago for a £1 each bought quite a few! he he lots of Winnie the poo, Eyeore, Tigger and Mickey & Mini Mouse Gosh what a bargin but I rarely use them, handy to have in for a kiddies card, although kinda have some Disney PJs my self Love Disney.

Sad news, my WOJ stamps still haven't arrived. I am such a kid when it comes to the crafty post arriving! ;0) It just can't come quick enough! I coloured image with Copics.

Used the Martha Stewart Punch on these lovely papers, these are old ones I am running low and don't see them any more. I have a lovely card almost ready for tomorow for another challenge, so pop by again if you can. Thank you for looking. Love Dawn xx
