12 x 12 LO and two challenges

I would like to thank Pam for her challenge over on SSIC I have been really moved by her comments on her own blog (hence the link) I have followed her for a while as she does the most amazing LOs But her challenge this week really moved me, to find out more pop to one of the links above. The challenge  on SSIC is to worship the lord in a project of any kind just create something to thank the Lord for your God given talent. And I have to say I am pleased with this LO I have been trying to get a bit of a wow factor and I think it's getting there lol. This is also for Kraftin Kimmy which is this week to use buttons & bows. I love the way I have used the KK image this week, they are that good you can use them bare with a little imagination! not forgetting a wee bit of help form the Lord ;0)

Look isn't she cute with her little bow? Actually it was the packaging of the KK that gave me my colour sceme, lilac is a fabby colour isn't it. There is another bow in the corner, I love the vellum with all the wonderful words on virtue, purity, strength, Faith, humility etc I had a few sheets and this is my last it's by rusty pickle and I haven't seen any since but it's lovely, they do other religious papers too I have seen them in Amereica but postage to UK is not worth it if you see or know of any of this range in UK tip me the wink ;-).

I have had these papers from Kanban for ever! (flower ones) and they are very good quality and versitile goodness knows how they have lasted this long and still lots left! aren't these buttons cute?

Where would we be with out HOPE? sweet sentiment. Can you see I have been busy making my very own DP with the new Anna Griffin stamps. Pop and have a look at the main picture for a better view. This is the sentiment from Prima, got some sparkly gems with it too! There are a few in the range faith, hope (I forget the rest) but I am liking them and the price too! (still Monday for me but hopefully it should be Wed when you see this) Love Dawn xx

Home Made Stamp Books & A challenge card

I have been busy trying to make room for my NEW goodies. In this months craft stamper there was a lovely little idea for clearing away some stamps and this is what I have done! I have made three and can you believe it, I haven't got enough there full already!

Here is the inside of one of the small ones, I have used this one for all my craft stamper freebies. I had to take most of them off the front of the magazine so no space saved there lol, this works really well with the acitate if they are the clear  stamps. However, the rubber ones that I have attached foam too are not very good at sticking although they stick to  an acrilic block fine, not so good on acitate.

This small book is purely for my Crafty Individual stamps. Now I have used stazon on the acitate so I know which is which. This was before I knew how to stamp the foam first! before sticking it to the stamp them selves. When i get round to it I will put something creative on the front of the books (labels etc).

This is the large book, don't you just love crafters? now Tim has thought a head, this is a thick plastic sheet already punched and printed to actual size of the stamps, Also Clear Stamps, Have done the same with their product, only there's is in a plastic pouch, so all the stamps are in and you can see them as & when you need them.

An up date, I got e-mails this morning telling me my items from QVC have beed dispatched first thing! so I could be playing with them tomorow or Saturday SO excited!!!

Now on to a challenge card, Krafting Kimmy are doing a challenge this week, it's called make a scene, do go to there blog for more information, and don't miss the DT this week they have done such a super job! the next is Paper take weekly I have followed their sketch, I like this one, and do and pop over if you can. Thanx for all your comments and encouragement Love Dawn xx

Two challenges for this one

Hi, So how is the SNOW effecting you all? hubby and I can't goto cinema as it's closed (due to weather) so have booked in at a lovely resturant near us (not too far!) lol isn't is astounding how a couple of weeks snow can bring a country to it's knees! I used to live in Germany as a child (for a wee while) and every year we had gloryious Winters as kids but it never stopped every one getting to work. When we have a few days of Sun it's the same thing (no water) too much rain? (flooding) Please can Britain become Great again and look after it's people it's not like we are not the highest taxed in all of Europe! I am sure many of my UK fellow crafters must feel similar.

OK Rant over, look on the bright side crafting is on top of my list of things to do (after feeding birds out side) lots visiting bless 'em I have lots of different kinds of food out to attract and help them in this very didfficult time for them.
I love this image and this is for Sketch Saturday which of course is to follow the sketch as always I do enjoy SS DT ( Iwas so close to being one of them lol how can I not continue to support the wonderful ladies there. Also this is for Kraftin’ Kimmy their challenge is to use some Paper Piecing I use this tecnique quite often although I do love to colour in my images much more. I am sure I must have said it B4 though, I would wear many DP I have in my draw lol
Using my new punch again here for the leaves I like to put some ink on the edges just to give them a wee bit of definition. I do hope you like this card there is planty of time so why not have a go?Thank you for looking. Love Dawn xx
